(© lydia ievins) After picking up my new nyckelharpa, I went to pay homage to Eric Sahlström. There's a nicely vacant space on the bench next to his life-sized statue where you can sit and play. The rainy day miraculously cleared up just long enough for a few of his tunes--perhaps thanks to his renowned geniality?
